Warping Past Your Competition with OpenCRM – Part One

7 Apr 2014

When each day seems filled to the brim with clients, opportunities and meetings, how do you ensure you stay ahead of your competition? Keeping an edge over competing companies can be difficult when you feel you are already working at 110%.

By utilizing good CRM tools which help you to streamline your sales process and refine your procedures, your companies’ efficiency and productivity will improve.

One of the handy CRM tools our customers use to help ease their heavy workloads is recurring Sales Orders. If you have ongoing customers and you have a regular amount you want to invoice over a recurring amount of time, this tool could really help you and your business to avoid repeating the same workflow over and over again.

When you create a Sales Order in OpenCRM, there is a section for setting if you would like to set the SO to reoccur, you can state whether you want this to repeat monthly, quarterly, annually or whatever period you require, the payment day and of course set the end date for this process to finish. Once the Sales Order is saved, a number of linked scheduled ‘recurrences’ are created, one for each of the set payment periods.
Once you are using this feature, you can see a quick overview of your recurring Sales Orders on the ‘recurring Sales Order’ grid component on your Home page. This gird can be very useful as you can filter the SO’s in many ways and even raise new invoices, straight from the component.

If you think your business could benefit from this feature, and you are already one of our customers, here is an FAQ which explains how to get going. As always, if you feel you need a helping hand please get in touch with our support team.
