6 Motivations to Walk to Work

16 Apr 2015

I’ve noticed that since buying a car back in November last year and gaining an extra 30 minutes in bed per day; I have become sleepy, unmotivated and stagnant when I arrive to work in the morning.

I seem to be arriving to work relying on my morning cup of tea to wake me up. Overall I’m feeling quite lethargic and unenthused!

So, now the weather has taken a turn for the better, I have given myself a good talking to and from now on, I am going to make a massive effort to get cracking on some good ol’ fashioned walks to work. I’ve already got a couple of walks in this week and I am already feeling the benefit.

So I thought I would share a few of those benefits with you below…

1. Save your pennies

2. Save the planet

3. Savour those cheeky few more calories

4. Save that stuffy head and be ready for a decent day of work

5. Savour those good long chats

6. See more (baby lambs, wild flowers, wildlife)

These are six motivations that will keep me on track and hopefully get me invigorated with the energy levels I need to tackle my tasks for the day ahead.
