Project Management

In order to achieve true collaboration, everyone working on a Project must have access to all the information relating to it to date, including the time spent, the time scheduled, and any related documentation. Don't stop using OpenCRM when the Invoice is raised, link all of that information to Project Management within OpenCRM and follow a Project through to delivery and complete the customer journey.

Projects

See the bigger picture

Track key Project dates including start date, target end date, and actual end dates.

Link the Project to the originating entities in OpenCRM including the Opportunity, Quotation, Sales Order or Support ticket, showing the bigger picture to your Project Workforce.

Manage Projects as best suits your business. You can filter Projects by a variety of fields, both standard and user defined, including status, priority, assigned user, or any combination of the Project fields.

Create a variety of different types of Project and ensure that the information specific to a particular type is recorded.

Manage your time

Outline the Activities required to complete the Project and track work carried out.

View the Project screen to see how much time, both chargeable and non-chargeable, has been recorded, completed or scheduled, how much time is left until the deadline, and how much time has overrun.

Communication is key

Broadcast your emails and SMS messages to everyone on the Project. Notify individual users keeping an audit of comments raised and responses. Output the Project description to a PDF and easily distribute this via email with a single click.

Activities

Look at it differently

Within OpenCRM you can set up custom views of your data, driving you towards the information that is important to you, at a time when it is important.

Activity views allow you to easily see which Activities are overdue: dates are displayed in red when the Activity is overdue, green when the due date is present, or black when the due date is set for the future.

Track your time

When you link an Activity to a Project, the amount of time recorded on that Activity is included in the calculation of the overall Project time. This allows you to track how long the Project is taking.

You can also set the Activity to be Chargeable or Non-Chargeable time, which will be reflected on the Project. Now you have the ability to easily create Invoices off the back of a Project that accurately reflect the time it took to complete.

Documents

Keep on topic

Do your projects generate a lot of external paperwork? Make sure everyone is on the same page using the Documents module.

Upload any and all associated Documents (or write them within OpenCRM using Document templates) and link them to the Project. Now you and the whole team always have access to the same information.
